Agile Alliance Presents
Reimagining Agility Initiative

Refreshing, extending, and making Agility accessible to all

Reimagining Agility is an initiative to promote Agile and Agility by re-examining and clarifying the core values and principles of Agile and extending those values and principles into new communities, such as product management, non-IT organizational units, and overall enterprise agility.

What is the scope of the initiative?

  • Increase participation in Reimagining Agility, creating a dynamic, active movement beyond the current Agile community, including consumers, customers, and those impacted by practices.
  • Actively reach out to the Agile community as a whole to create collaboration spaces where members and non-members alike can discuss, shape, share experiences, and grow Agile outside previous beliefs and practices
  • Publish and support thought leadership from our members that expands Agile ways of working outside of traditional software and application development and into other functional areas such as marketing, legal, HR, and strategy
  • An active acknowledgment that, as the world will continue to change and evolve, so have our views and beliefs in how and what Agile looks like
  • Create a space for intentional listening beyond the current climate where we listen to both the community and those beyond the community.
  • Expand, extend, and share ideas and methods to make it accessible to everyone, refreshing what needs to endure, and extending Agile to Agility and new horizons.

Reimagining Agility Workshop Brussels
October 7, 2026
It's time to pause, ask the hard questions, and reimagine what agility needs to become in a world shaped by scale, governance, and AI. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and dig in, please join our Reimagining Agility workshop in Brussels.

“Agile is not a one-size-fits-all solution but a mindset that encourages adapting and evolving. It invites us to embrace change, question our assumptions, and continuously seek improvement. So, as we reflect on our Agile experiences, let's hold onto the notion that every disappointment carries the seeds of knowledge and growth.”

– Jim Highsmith, Agile Manifesto Co-author
