About this Agile Alliance Board Initiative
Reimagine Agility is an initiative to promote Agile and Agility by re-examining and clarifying the core values and principles of Agile and extending those values and principles into new communities, such as product management, non-IT organizational units, and overall enterprise agility.
Scope of the Initiative
- Increase participation in Reimagining Agility, creating a dynamic, active movement beyond the current Agile community, including consumers, customers, and those impacted by practices.
- Actively reach out to the Agile community as a whole to create collaboration spaces where members and non-members alike can discuss, shape, share experiences, and grow Agile outside previous beliefs and practices
- Publish and support thought leadership from our members that expands Agile ways of working outside of traditional software and application development and into other functional areas, such as marketing, legal, HR, and strategy
- An active acknowledgment that, as the world will continue to change and evolve, so have our views and beliefs in how and what Agile looks like
- Create a space for intentional listening beyond the current climate, where we listen to both the community and those beyond the community.
- Expand, extend, and share ideas and methods to make it accessible to everyone, refreshing what needs to endure, and extending Agile to Agility and new horizons.
Reimagining Agility Resources: Workshops, Podcasts, Videos, and Blog Posts
Our purpose is to get the Reimagining Agility journey ball rolling. How far it rolls will depend on the community. If you’re looking for ways to learn more and get involved, check out these events, groups, podcasts, and more.
Thank you to our Reimagining Agility Workshop Facilitators
In 2025, we put out a call for volunteers to help run our Reimagining Agility in-person and online workshops. After careful selection, we’ve formed a team of 30 workshop facilitators. Please join us in thanking them all for their time and hard work on this initiative. A special thank you also goes out to Eren Özdemir for helping to manage this process, creating the workshop materials, and training and coordinating our volunteer team.
