Her passion for community development and shaping the future of work makes her a valuable addition to our team. Denise\u00a0joins\u00a0us from WESCO International, Inc., where she was a Senior Director of Global Digital and Agile Transformation, leading and inspiring large-scale\u00a0change\u00a0across multiple regions to deliver enterprise outcomes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining WESCO, Denise built deep Agile and transformation experience across multiple industries\u2014working in the defense sector at Northrop Grumman, in manufacturing at Knorr-Bremse AG, and in professional services at Humphreys &amp; Associates, Inc., H&amp;A Radically Better Agile, and Scrum Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00a0U.S. Army veteran, Denise served as an Active-Duty Military Intelligence Analyst and later as an Officer with the Colorado Army National Guard. She holds degrees from Grand Valley State University and the American Military University.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her new roles, Denise will be tasked with:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Growing and nurturing the global Agile community\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Executing a strategy for Agile Alliance and leading the Agile Alliance team\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the development of the suite of\u00a0Agile\u00a0offerings in professional development, upskilling, learning, and content\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leading the global debate and expanding the vision of agility beyond software development towards enterprise agility\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Denise will provide direction, strong momentum, and growing influence by developing, executing, and integrating initiatives in the Agile space. She will grow and nurture a thriving\u00a0Agile\u00a0ecosystem within\u00a0PMI\u00a0and Agile Alliance, inclusive of leading the Agile Alliance organization.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to\u00a0share\u00a0a special\u00a0thanks to\u00a0Aliki\u00a0Courmanopoulos,\u00a0who\u00a0provided interim leadership of Agile Alliance and support during the integration of Agile Alliance into the PMI family,\u00a0for her\u00a0great\u00a0work\u00a0and achievements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce that Denise Jarvie has joined Agile Alliance as our new Managing Director.
