About this Event Session

Storytelling is a powerful way to engage, inspire, teach and learn so naturally plays a fundamental part in the world of product.

At all levels of the business, regardless of role, or the life cycle of a product, product people are telling stories.

But what stories are being told? Who are you telling stories to? What problems are being solved and what assumptions are being tested?

When it comes to building products people often struggle to clearly articulate the why of product evolution, progress towards goals, ideas and key learnings. Grounded on your perspective of the product and your personal product disposition it is useful to plot a path that will lead to success.

During this interactive talk we will view our worlds through the product lens, identifying which stories need to be told based on our personal product stance and the situation at hand.

We will navigate the terrain between strategy to tactics and the stance of visionary to implementer.

If you are a product passionate individual on a quest to bring stakeholders on a compelling journey, customers closer to your teams whilst discovering your strengths and product blind spots, this is the talk for you.

Participants will,

  • Learn how the power of storytelling can inspire, teach, engage and guide stakeholders and teams.
  • Discover how the Product Disposition Canvas can support you to generate a product story for every given situation.
  • Gain a greater understanding of your personal strengths, and stance, as a product person as well as build awareness of your product blind spots.
